Artist Chanel Ly, is founder of Bitter Melon Bindery.  Learning bookbinding at a youth arts centre in Vancouver, British Columbia. She spent years developing her own signature designs, and created earth friendly handbooks.  Bookbinding to her is one of many processes to help heal and reconnect to her inner-self.  No two books are the same and are for the reflective, curious, and creative.  Intricate washi paper from Japan are carefully selected, cut to size, then sewn together with high quality recycled papers.  Chanel aims to inspire authentic self-expression with her books.
